This awesome event will be on Sunday, May 25th starting at 2:00PM. It will be taking place in the Student Union Ballroom in the Student Union Building. Directions are located under Schedule.

This is a great opportunity to see some great Ballroom Dancing right here at Rhode Island College. There will be over 20 performances!!

Come to the first very exciting Ballroom Waterfire in Providence of the season! It will be on Saturday, May 24th. A lesson will be at 7pm. Dancing will be from 8pm to midnight. This is a FREE event. On Saturday April 12th 2008 there will be the Annual Spring Carnival Ball hosted by the International Institute Rhode Island. There will be lots of music and dancing with some hors d'oeuvres! The best part is people from the RIC club and Johnson & Wales University will be performing an awesome routine! Please show your support by going! Holy Cross will be hosting a competition on February 23rd. Please be advise weather conditions are very testy and if there are any changes to the schedule to the competition it will be posted. Last I have heard that the event will not be canceled/postponed or pushed back a few hours. They recommend to plan accordingly and ask all dancers to be ready 45 minutes before the event they are competing in.Please click here for more information.

On Wednesday, February 13th there will be the Student Organization Showcase in the Student Union Ballroom. It will be a great opportunity to find out more about our club!

There will be dance on Friday, December 7th from 7pm to 11pm hosted by URI Ballroom Dancing Club. It will be in the Ballroom located in the Memorial Union building. It is $5 for Students and $10 for the general public. They will have some short beginner lessons toward the beginning if you are interested. Polka Dot Dance is Nov. 3rd in the Student Union Ballroom on the RIC Campus. It will be from 7pm to 11pm. The pricing is as follows: anyone who is dressed up in polka dot outfit will get a discount!!! Students will be $5 and adults will be $10. Otherwise for those who do not dress up it will be $7 for students and $12 for adults. This will be a blast! Hope you can make it :)

On Tuesday, October 2nd we will be sponsoring in honor of Diversity Week a Salsa evening along with LASO and the Unity Center. It will start at 6:00pm in the Student Union Ballroom and end at 9:00pm. It is a free night with a lesson! So bring your friends!!!!

There is a Waterfire in downtown Providence this Saturday, May 26th. It will start approximately at 8:00PM. It is free event to go dancing down at the Sovereign Plaza. For more information please visit here

The Club will be traveling to PA for some dance lessons as well as other dance events! It will be an awesome time. The trip will be taking place on April 27-29th. The Deadline for money collection has passed!

If you are competing meet at the Student Union Loop for 6am. If you want to follow to watch the competition be there as well.
Uniform code is as follows: Men: White Shirt and Black pants. A gold tie if you have one. Ladies: White Shirt and black pants! This is so we can look uniformed as one team! Good luck to all those competing!

There will be a Disney dance on Saturday, November 11 from 7PM to 11PM at Rhode Island College - Student Union Ballroom! Dress up as your favorite Disney Character! Bring your friends!
